To further tailor your e-Store, you can change the layout and the appearance of each category.  Below you will find the instructions on the various ways you can do this:

Editing a category

1. Log into your e-Store Control Panel
2. Select the Catalog tab
3. Select Categories from the category bar to the left
4. Select the category you want to edit, press the Edit button

5. Make any changes necessary, then press the Save Changes button

Below are some of the properties of the category you can edit Adding a category image

1. Under the Image section, press the Select button to the right of Banner Image URL

Note: the Icon Image URL is for sub categories

2. Proceed through the image upload to upload a category image.

Uploading an image

Once you have finished uploading your image, you should now see it above the category title, as shown below:

Note: The pictures above the sub categories are Icon Images.

Changing the category display

Under the General section, you can adjust the way the category will show up by adjusting the Display As values, as shown below:

If you go to the category in the front of your e-Store, you will see the different view

Removing the category from the menu

Under the Advanced section, you can remove the category from the top menu, or totally remove it from view

Linking a category to a custom page

Under the Menu Tab section, you can have someone click a category and take them to a custom page.  Just enable the Use Custom Link option, and then enter your URL in the Custom Page URL field, as shown below:

To find the URL of your custom page, click the link of your custom page in the Footer of your e-Store

The copy and the address in the address bar of your browser, and paste it into the Custom Page URL field

Now, when you click on the category link, you will be taken to the custom page, as shown below:

Linking a category to an external URL

Under the Menu Tab section, you can have someone click a category and take them to an external website.  Just enable the Use Custom Link option, and then enter your URL in the Custom Page URL field, as shown below:

Now, when you click on the category link, you will be taken to the external URL, as shown below:
