Before you add your products to your e-Store, you will need to setup categories, and if needed, sub-categories, to your e-Store. These categories will give the customer a means to navigate your products, and will allow the administrator a place to put new products. To add categories to your e-Store, please do the following:
Adding a Category
1. Log into your e-Store Control Panel
2. Select the Catalog tab
3. To add a category, type in the name of the category in the left-hand column, then press the New button, as depicted in the image below

Adding a Sub-Category
To add a sub-category, click the root category on the left, and under the Sub-Categories section to the right, enter the name of your new sub category. Then press the New button underneath it, as shown below.

Navigating Categories
Once you select a sub category, the screen will automatically refresh and will display the name in the primary category list. This will allow you to create further sub categories. If you wish to navigate back to your root category list, press the category link to the left to navigate back, as shown below:

Editing a Category
If you wish to edit a category, select the category you with to edit, and press the Edit button. This will allow you to setup category properties such as grid size, product filters, meta tags, images, etc. When you are finished, press the Save Changes button.
